BAY HEAD — The ninth annual Art in the Park and Beyond is set for this Sunday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bay Head.
This year, the event has grown so large that the event has spread to more areas of the town. The main group of vendors will be in Centennial Park, located directly behind municipal hall, 83 Bridge Ave. There will also be vendors located on Mount and Howe Streets.
Music will be played all day long and the event features dozens upon dozens of local artists and artisans. This free event is open to the public. It will take place rain or shine.
Zsa Zsa Stackles, founder and one of the organizers of Art in the Park, told The Ocean Star, “This is always after Father’s Day to ensure the whole community is present and always on a Sunday to make sure there is not much distraction to attend other events. This event brings everyone together for the sake of art, showcases Bay Head as a perfect venue for fine art and fine events and provides a place for local and not-so-local artists to showcase their work.”
