BRICK TOWNSHIP — Both the Democratic and Republican candidates for the November election have been set as a result of the June 10 primary, with incumbent Mayor Lisa Crate, a Democrat, and Madeline Iannarone, a Republican. Both candidates ran uncontested.
The term for mayor will be four years.
Crate, a Democrat, received 4,410 votes during the primary, and Iannarone, a Republican, received 5,609.
The Democratic and Republican candidates for council in the November general election have also been set.
All three council seats are for four-year terms.
The Democratic representatives for council will be Heather deJong, Dan Ward and Rocco Lepore. Incumbent Councilwoman deJong received 4,019 votes, newcomers Ward and Lepore received 3,720 and 3,705 votes respectively.
The Republican representatives for council will be Lisa Reina, Perry Albanese and Greg Cohen. Reina received 4,980 votes, incumbent Councilman Albanese received 4,741 votes and Cohen received 4,622 votes.
