BAY HEAD — For many years, the Bay Head Summer Camp has provided children with fun under the sun with their peers.
The summer camp runs from June 30 to Aug. 7, Mondays through Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to noon at Bay Head School, 145 Grove St. Every day, the camp will feature new and exciting activities, such as arts and crafts, themed days, mystery adventures and visits from the Bay Head Police and Fire Departments.
The camp is open to children ages 5 through 12. Bay Head residents are not the only children allowed in the camp. The camp is open to children and grandchildren of both Bay Head residents and summer renters, along with any student enrolled at Bay Head School.
The camp costs $200 per child. The fee is non-refundable.
With space still available for the camp, Councilwoman Holly MacPherson, who is also head of the recreation committee in Bay Head, told The Ocean Star, “Traditionally in Bay Head, the camp has been around for generations. It gives children in the community somewhere to go and it is a great place for them to be with kids their own age to do activities. Everybody loves summer camp.”
