BAY HEAD — The Bay Head Home and School Association (HSA) held its annual gift auction last week at Bay Head Yacht Club, raising a record-setting $30,000 for Bay Head School and its programs.
Donations and sponsorships poured in from a variety of local businesses, organizations and individuals, reflecting the strong ties between Bay Head School and its surrounding community, according to the event coordinators, Esther Brennan and Michelle Daly.
Contributions came from Bay Head School families as well as businesses such as Mueller’s Bakery, Nautilus and Manasquan Bank.
“This year’s event saw the return of several top sponsors who have consistently shown their support for the school,” said Brennan. “Saltwater House, MOKOTA Custom Builders and the Bay Head and Mantoloking PBA were among the repeat sponsors who helped make the auction a standout occasion.”
Daly added, “Local businesses also demonstrated their unwavering dedication to supporting the Home and School Association. Noon Designs, Shore Apparel, Standard Waste Services, Hammer Surf School and B&B Department Stores each sponsored tables in the beautiful Clubhouse ballroom of the Bay Head Yacht Club.”
The event itself saw over 150 guests flood the yacht club, as co-hosts Mike Hermalyn and Frank Robinson entertained a record-setting crowd consisting of Bay Head School alumni families, current families and school faculty.
