BRICK TOWNSHIP — The Brick Hero Awards return on Friday, March 14, to the Brick Memorial High School Auditorium at 2001 Lanes Mill Road. The event will begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Proceeds will benefit the Mayor’s Student Advisory Committee (MSAC) and the Brick Teen Center.
Mayor Lisa Crate said, “The Hero Awards are the best. Each year I’m so excited to see and hear about some of the wonderful things everyday people from our community do to make Brick Township such a great place to live. We have so many caring individuals in our town and the Hero Awards are a great way to celebrate the good work that people do every single day.”
To nominate a local hero, visit bricktownship.net and fill out the submission form.
The awards celebrate remarkable individuals and organizations in the following categories: business, community stewardship, military/veterans, non-profit organization, public safety, public service, school personnel, seniors, volunteerism and youth.
Mayor Crate said, “If you know someone living in Brick Township that is an everyday hero that you’d like to have us recognize, you can do so by visiting the Township Website and clicking on the link to complete your submission.”
