BRADLEY BEACH — The Bradley Beach Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting on Jan. 7, at which four board members were administered the oath of office as they begin a new term.
In the November general election, incumbents Bridget Devane, Felicia Sacci and Elizabeth Franks, alongside newcomer Katelyn Saldutti ran unopposed for four seats on the board.
On Tuesday, the four were administered their oaths of office by Board Administrator/Secretary David Tonzola. The three incumbents – Devane, Sacci and Franks – were elected to full three-year terms on the board, while Saldutti was elected to fill an unexpired one-year term.
Following the ceremony, the board unanimously elected Franks to continue serving as the board’s president and Devane to continue serving as the board’s vice president.
“It’s really been such a pleasure working with this board. I want to thank everyone here, you all contribute so much to the board with your experiences and expertise, it makes it easy to do this,” Franks said.
The board passed a resolution memorializing meeting dates for the year, which will be held every third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Bradley Beach Elementary School, except during holiday periods and as noted on the school website.
