BRIELLE — Brielle Day will return to the borough at Brielle Park on Sept. 7 and will feature a craft show and “Kids’ Korner” at the annual event sponsored by the Brielle Woman’s Club.
Brielle Day is a rain or shine event and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The craft show will offer handmade items from more than 150 juried crafters.
Joan Morse, chair of the Brielle Day Committee, said, “Brielle Day is always a very exciting day. We always enjoy it a lot.”
According to the woman’s club, the townwide event is for all ages and the craft fair is a highlight of Brielle Day, which attracts up to 20,000 visitors from the tri-state area.
“It’s one of our main events for the year and it’s our biggest fundraiser. Brielle Day is all hands on deck and everybody works it and does something. We work on it all year long, it’s one of our biggest events,” said Morse.
Morse told The Coast Star that she is interested to see how the Kids’ Korner does, as it is new this year.
“We took vendors who did kid-centric things and put them in one location. That way, if people with kids are there, they can go to one location for stuff for kids,” said Morse.
