BAY HEAD — All Saints Church, located at 500 Lake Ave., hosted its annual St. Nicholas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 11.
The event was from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with all proceeds going to local charities and organizations. Some of these include St. Gregory’s Pantry, Dottie’s House, local first aid and fire departments and Ocean County Harbor House.
Penny Witt, chairman of the bazaar committee, said, “This is an annual affair for All Saints. Back in the day, easily 25 years ago, my mother even worked [this event].”
Residents were lined up outside the doors of All Saints well before the event began, stretching almost around the entire church. Residents from all over Bay Head and neighboring municipalities came out to both shop and support the event.
“The bazaar is one of two fundraisers organized by the Women’s Guild of the church, the other being our Fashion Show/Luncheon in July,” said Chris Kyse, of All Saints. Items were either donated or made by members of the church. That included household items, jewelry, antiques, kids’ toys, games and Christmas decor.
