POINT PLEASANT — The borough of Point Pleasant will usher in the holiday season on Dec. 2 with the annual tree lighting ceremony.
From 4 to 8 p.m., residents of Point Pleasant can experience a winter wonderland at Community Park, which will include family-fun for all ages, according to Mayor Robert Sabosik.
Available will be bouncy houses, carriage rides, a special holiday train and a marketplace throughout the park featuring local businesses and holiday treats.
On top of the holiday treats, food trucks and food vendors will be available all evening throughout the park as well.
The holiday market is sponsored by the Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce.
Along with this, special characters, who the mayor wanted to keep a surprise, will be around all evening to entertain and interact with the children of the community.
He also alluded to a very special jolly guest making an appearance when the tree lighting occurs.
