POINT PLEASANT — A structural fire erupted Monday night in the garage located on the back part of the Warner Chiropractic property, at 2124 Bridge Ave.
Tim Warner, owner and practitioner of the business, described the situation to The Ocean Star. He received a call at 10:15 p.m. on Monday night from one of his patients who was driving past the scene, informing him that the garage was “up in flames.”
Mr. Warner, who lives “two blocks away” from his office, immediately went over to the scene, where the Point Pleasant Fire Department was already on the scene.
He further said the fire department had extinguished the fire very quickly and ensured it did not spread to any nearby structures or foliage.
“[The fire] didn’t affect anything other than the shed, which if you see where the shed is located is pretty amazing,” said Mr. Warner. He went on further to say he is unsure what could have started this fire.
“As of now, the last I spoke with the fire marshal I think it is still undetermined,” said Mr. Warner.
The Fire Marshal’s Office of Ocean County is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
