BRICK TOWNSHIP — The Women’s Club of Brick Township made a donation to Osbornville Elementary School for the school year.
According to the women’s club, they became aware that there might be children attending the Osbornville Elementary School, located on Drum Point Road, that were not as prepared as they could be to start the school year.
Brett Novick, the social worker and school counselor, said, “Backpacks, pencils and paper are the tools by which our students can do the work of learning.”
To help remedy the situation and ensure needy students had the tools they needed, the Women’s Club of Brick purchased backpacks and filled them with various supplies including pencils, erasers, paper, crayons, glue sticks, Kleenex, pads, rulers, markers and more, according to the club.
