MANASQUAN — The Manasquan Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will hold its 30th annual Nearly New Clothing Sale on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church located at 6 Osborn Ave.
Planned, organized and run by members of the church’s Social Ministry Committee, they focus on providing the community with necessities such as donating school supplies to local students and making Thanksgiving dinner ingredient bags for families in need.
Each year, the group accepts donated women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, offers a jewelry boutique room consisting of costume pieces, name-brand purses, specialty items and a bake sale with homemade desserts baked by committee members.
The clothing items start as low as $1 a piece and up to $5 for coats. On Saturday, the second day of the sale, attendees can fill a full bag with clothing for just $10. Free t-shirts are also available while supplies last and are limited to five per person.
