MANASQUAN — Manasquan councilmembers unveiled the newly upgraded playground at Indian Hill Park located at Fisk and Church Streets, on Tuesday afternoon.
The project included installing a new rubberized surface, to ensure consistency and safety around the entire play area.
In addition, the project included the relocation of the existing swing set that originally was on the grass area behind where it sits now. It was moved closer to the playground to have everything in one contained and more defined area, according to Councilman Michael Mangan.
The goal of this project is to address safety and accessibility updates and aesthetic improvements. According to Mr. Mangan, the town will continue to upgrade playground surfaces of different parks in town each year until they are all completed.
