POINT PLEASANT — The New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurances Professionals [NABIP-NJ] recognized the efforts of Ray Pokorny of Point Pleasant, naming him the recipient of the 2023 NABIP-NJ President’s Award.
The President’s Award honors a member of the NABIP-NJ who has shown extreme dedication and commitment to the organization.
Mr. Pokorny has spent several decades in the industry and has been a proud member of NABIP-NJ, which was previously called the National Association of Health Underwriters, for the past 21 years. He served as Coastal NABIP-NJ Social Chairperson for many years then served as president twice, for two year terms each.
Last year, he took on the role of chair of the organization’s annual State of the State in Healthcare Conference. He said he has dedicated much of his time to helping better this organization and the lives of people.
“Ray has a tireless work ethic, and his enthusiasm is infectious,” NABIP-NJ President Barbara Napolitano said. “He served as a Chapter President not once but twice, and then he stepped up to run one of the most important events of the year. And he can always be found in Washington D.C. at our national policy conference each year.”
