BRICK TOWNSHIP — The Women’s Club of Brick has partnered with the Key Club at Brick Memorial High School and V.O.I.C.E.S. [Volunteer Opportunities in Community Enrichment for Students] at Brick Township High School to plant pinwheel gardens outside of the township’s two high schools for Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The pinwheels were planted at Brick Memorial High School on Monday, April 3, and at Brick Township High School on Tuesday, April 4.
The pinwheel gardens serve as a visual reminder that everyone in the community plays a role in preventing child abuse, according to the Women’s Club.
National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect, according to the club.
