WALL – The Wall boys lacrosse team earned a 7-6 comeback victory over rival Wall on Wednesday.
It was the first regular season win for the Crimson Knights over the Warriors in nine years.
Manasquan held a 6-4 lead on Wall with 7:42 left in the fourth quarter when the Crimson Knights produced two goals in a span of just over 30 seconds from Will Madden and John McCurry to tie the game.
Lucas Seelinger made two point-blank saves for Wall with just under three minutes left in regulation before Shea Brennan scored the game-winning goal with 1:23 left in the fourth quarter.
Michael Hoarle played a key role in the win for the Crimson Knights winning 14 out of 17 faceoffs to help Wall win the possession battle over the Warriors.
