POINT PLEASANT — The Point Pleasant Recreation Center Easter Egg hunt finally happened on Saturday, April 8 at Community Park.
The hunt began at 11 a.m., with different age groups going off every 10 minutes, until roughly 11:30.
“The weather finally cooperated and we were able to have our egg hunt this past Saturday. It got postponed three different times because of rainstorms, but I am very happy we were able to have it and not cancel it altogether,” Mayor Robert Sabosik said.
Over 200 children showed up to the event to gather eggs, get some candy and meet the Easter Bunny.
“Even with the postponements, there were still a few hundred Point Boro children that made it out. I really want to thank our employees for being available, especially after…all the cancellations and it being Easter weekend,” said Mayor Sabosik.
