BRICK TOWNSHIP — Two more pets have been reunited with their families after the Brick Township Police received hundreds of emails from people around the nation looking for missing pets.
Rocky, a 2-year-old collie who spent two weeks under the care of the Ocean County Animal Facilities, was reunited with his family after being missing for over seven months.
Couchy, a shepherd mix, was reclaimed by a family from South Carolina, according to Brian Lippai, a spokesman for the Ocean County Health Department.
The Ocean Star had previously reported on Daisy, a bloodhound whose family drove from Tennessee to reclaim her.
“They heard the dog had made the journey from an adopter to the Brick home and asked to reclaim, which was granted after they provided proof of ID, vet papers and pictures,” said Mr. Lippai.
