WALL TOWNSHIP —The municipal meeting room was filled to the brim with red and blue Ws Wednesday night as the Wall Township Committee honored its youth football and cheer programs for athletic excellence.
“We’re super proud of you all and we’re here to honor you,” Deputy Mayor Erin Mangan said.
Teams honored with proclamations included the Wall Knights American Youth Cheer D10 Competitive Cheer Team, Wall Knights American Youth Cheer D14 Competitive Cheer Team and the Wall Knights American Youth Football 12U Allstars.
Additionally, the committee honored eighth-grader Kayla Pressman as the recipient of the 2022 Young Citizen of the Year Award for academic and community excellence.
