POINT PLEASANT BEACH — The St. Gregory’s Pantry Toy Drive has returned for another year in an effort to provide holiday joy for those in need and is seeking the help of the community to support them.
The organization is now accepting donations of unwrapped gifts and toys for children and teens, a gift card of any type and/or non-perishable food and snacks for the kids. Gifts can be dropped off at any time of the Pantry’s operating hours, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Saint Mary’s by the Sea, 804 Bay Ave.
Their Christmas distribution will be held through the week of Dec. 12 to Dec. 16, just in time for Christmas Day.
This is the first year since the COVID-19 pandemic where the toy drive is back in full swing. For the past couple of years, the Pantry has given gift cards without any personal contact. Now, the toys will be set up like a toy store, and attendees will be able to select the gifts that work best for them. Food will also be available for these families.
