POINT PLEASANT BEACH — The Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce has announced a series of sponsored Christmas events in an effort to bring the holiday spirit to the borough.
The Chamber’s holiday activities will begin with the arrival of Santa Claus at the Christmas tree lighting on Friday, Nov. 25 in downtown Point Pleasant Beach. The tree lighting begins at 5:30 p.m. on Bay Avenue, and Santa will arrive by firetruck shortly after.
Through 8 p.m., attendees can take pictures with Santa at Ocean County Music, go on horse-and-carriage rides, fire truck rides and participate in various children’s activities. DJ Paul of Backstage Entertainment will provide music.
On Dec. 3, the Chamber is sponsoring a Brunch with Santa from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Round Dough with a Hole, 400 Richmond Ave.
Another Chamber-sponsored Brunch with Santa will be held at Lobster Shanty from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, located at 83 Channel Drive. Attendees can enjoy a breakfast buffet, take a photo with Santa and receive a complimentary gift. Seating is limited and is through reservation only, to be made by calling 732-899-6700.
