AVON–BY–THE–SEA — A new construction site maintenance ordinance was introduced at the commissioners meeting on Monday, July 25.
Commercial construction site maintenance has been a prominent topic in recent months, with complaints about the condition of sites and hours and times of allowed work.
Residents have urged the commissioners and borough for stricter enforcement of the construction code, resulting in the new construction site maintenance ordinance that was presented.
This is a separate section of the borough code, as said by Mayor Ed Bonanno, that deals strictly with construction sites separate from the noise code already in place.
