BRADLEY BEACH — The Bradley Beach Board of Education approved a budget for the 2022-2023 school year following a public hearing on Tuesday, May 3.
The budget for the 2022-2023 school year totals at $7,556,334, compared to the 2021-2022 school year budget which totaled $7,529,918.
The preliminary budget was adopted on March 22; it was then sent to the executive county superintendent for approval on March 31.
A residential property in the borough assessed at the borough average, $812,511, will see an annual school tax bill of $3,122, an increase of $71 over this year’s bill.
The local school-purposes tax levy totals $6,575,110. This compares to last year’s amount of $6,446,186.
The total state aid is $581,139, this is a decrease of $146,232 compared to last year’s total of $727,371.
The unrestricted miscellaneous revenues totals at $13,550 which is the same figure as last year.
