$4M infrastructure plan approved in Wall

WALL TOWNSHIP — The Wall Township Council has approved a $4,084,183 capital spending plan that includes roadway and drainage improvements and public works vehicles, among other projects.

Most of the planned spending, $3,296,000, is to be covered by the township. Another $388,183 will be covered by grants from the New Jersey Department of Transportation to help pay for several roadway improvements. The township also pays $400,000 in down payments between all of the projects.

The plan includes $1,838,183 in roadway and drainage improvements on local streets, including Ocean Road, Water Street, and Oakwood Road.
