Bay Head to offer holiday cheer for all

BAY HEAD — Bay Head will transform into a winter wonderland as the Bay Head Business Association [BHBA] kicks off their holiday festivities for all ages to enjoy on Dec. 3.

Allison Feehan, vice president of the BHBA, shared that the association has been planning the borough’s upcoming holiday activities since September. “Last year with COVID we had some restrictions, so this year we’re pretty excited to have the Boy Scouts back again and Santa Claus will meet with the children personally this year,  as last year he was on the firetruck – so there are some changes since last year that we’re really excited about,” said Ms. Feehan.

From 5:30 to 8 p.m., all shops and businesses in the borough will be open for visitors to stop in to get a start on their holiday shopping. Some businesses will be serving food and beverages. The Boy Scouts of Ocean County will place sandwich bag luminaries along the Christmas walk outside of the businesses.

All Saints Church will also open its doors from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for hands-on activities, crafts and snacks. The New Jersey Chamber Singers choir will perform and the St. Nicholas’ exhibit will be available for viewing from Dec. 3 to 6. Ms. Feehan noted that All Saints Church also plans to help light up the Scow Ditch bridge.
