All Saints Church welcomes Rev. Kathryn L. King as rector

BAY HEAD — Rev. Kathryn L. King has been appointed as the new rector of the All Saints Episcopal Church of Bay Head by the parish’s wardens and vestry.

Rev. King will officially join the parish on Nov. 15, and during her first service as rector, she will preside at Holy Eucharist and a baptism, which will be at 10:15 a.m. in the sanctuary on Christ the King Sunday, which is Nov. 21.

Following the service, there will be a coffee hour where the congregation is invited to greet Rev. King.

“She is delighted to become part of our parish family and eager to get to know everyone,” said Meg Beresik, who is on the communications and community relations committee of the parish.

Ms. Beresik said that in the weeks ahead, Rev. King hopes to meet many members of the parish and community in person.

“Given the ongoing pandemic, Rev. King welcomes the opportunity to meet people outdoors or through phone or Zoom calls, according to each person’s ability and level of comfort,” said Ms. Beresik.
