BRADLEY BEACH — The Bradley Beach Business Community Alliance [BBBCA] hosted an informational forum to give resident, business and nonprofit members an opportunity to hear Mayor Larry Fox and Borough Administrator Kimberly Humphrey discuss their responsibilities,  backgrounds and borough issues.

Some two dozen BBBCA members participated in the Nov. 4 event held at the Bradley Beach firehouse. The topics of discussion included Main Street, Sylvan and Fletcher Lakes, communications and community engagement. Following the presentation, there was a question and answer session.

“We wanted to give our members a direct opportunity to speak with the mayor and the administrator,” said BBBCA board president Paula Gavin, who added that the mayor and business administrator were enthusiastic about meeting with the alliance.

Mayor Larry Fox said, “it was good we could answer questions and have an open dialogue.”

Ms. Gavin told The Coast Star that the discussion reflected, “a lot of effort to think about the long-term vision of Main Street, what we want it to look like, how we want to improve the safety as well as the appearance and really how to make it a destination for both residents and visitors.”
