Borough launches Mayors Wellness Campaign

BRADLEY BEACH — Mayor Larry Fox has signed the Mayors Wellness Campaign [MWC] Annual Pledge of Participation, vowing to commit to improving the health and wellness of all Bradley Beach residents.  

“We are launching the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign to engage the community, provide access to quality wellness events and promote sustainable and healthy lifestyles,” said Mayor Fox in an announcement. “From community walks to awareness events, we will work together to ensure residents are living an active, healthy lifestyle.”

He added that the borough’s new mayor’s wellness committee has been working on expanding outreach to the community by planning the walks, events and other activities designed to promote healthy living. 


The announcement listed activities that residents can attend this year, beginning with a Mayor’s Wellness Walk, which will take place at 9 a.m. on Nov. 21, starting at the Fifth Avenue Gazebo.
