POINT PLEASANT BEACH — The one-mile Fun Run and Monster Dash 5K returned to Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk at Jenkinson’s on Saturday after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event was organized by the Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad which serves Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, Bay Head and Mantoloking.

Event coordinator and race director Megan Miller said she was excited to have the event return.
