MANASQUAN — Members of the community are invited to join the Squan Village Historical Society this weekend for a special event that will cover the results of a paranormal investigation conducted at the Bailey-Reed House Museum.
The program will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. in the barn, located behind the house at 105 South St. New Jersey Researchers of Paranormal Evidence [NJROPE] will present the report.
The initial investigation, according to Richard Bonelli, president of the Squan Village Historical Society, was conducted nearly two years ago at the suggestion of board member Mary Hill.
He said the investigators broke into two groups, one in the house and one in the barn, and used their specialized equipment to inspect the property. After reviewing the evidence collected, Mr. Bonelli said the investigators said they heard a male voice in the attic of the house and a female voice in the barn.
