MANASQUAN — The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore will host its first Harvesting Hope for Mental Health event this month to promote awareness and break the stigma surrounding mental health.
The event, which is being co-chaired by Samaritan Center ambassadors Chrissy Rice and Christy Langella, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Squan Plaza.
“We want to encourage people to come out for a night of food, music, dancing and family fun,” said Ms. Rice. “I think it’s going to be a great event.”
The event is a mental health awareness campaign with all proceeds to benefit the Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore. Additionally, the co-chairs hope to bring attention to the Samaritan Center and the services they provide.
