BRADLEY BEACH — After a few weeks into a new signage rule in the borough, one business owner has raised concerns about the possible effects on her business, and the placement of her sandwich board sign.

The owner of Back In Time Café Reenie Van Buren, on Sept. 2, received a notice of violation from the borough regarding the placement of her sandwich board sign located on the corner of LaReine Avenue and Main Street at the entrance of Riley Park.

The Back In Time Café is located inside the Bradley Beach Train Station building, which is between Brinley Avenue and LaReine Avenue and Main Street and Memorial Drive. The sign was designed by local artist, Rachel Warnet.

During the communications portion of Tuesday’s governing body meeting, there was a request from Ms. Van Buren to keep the A-frame sign for her business on Main Street.
