2020 and 2021 retirees honored by Manasquan School District

MANASQUAN — The Manasquan School District on Tuesday night honored 11 faculty and staff members from the elementary school and high school who retired in 2020 and 2021.

“Tonight’s a night of celebration and I really want to thank those who came out to celebrate the new journey that our retirees are going to have as they move forward,” Superintendent of Schools Frank Kasyan said.

“It’s bittersweet for me as I look in the audience, I see people who have had a firm commitment to the Manasquan School District.”

Mr. Kasyan added that he was impressed by the consistency of each retiree year after year, decade after decade, in their commitment to the children of Manasquan.

“We are who we are because of you. It’s not who stands in front, but those who are behind that make a profound difference,” he added.

Among those recognized were Steven Faden, Salvatore Dichiara, Carlos Zuna, Renee Dzenis, Nancy LeBlanc, Jill Moore, Nancy Sanders, Teresa Trumpbour, Lee Weisert, Colleen Graziano and Richard Kirk.
