LAVALLETTE — Nearing the halfway mark of the summer season, the updated sales of beach badges throughout the season were provided to the public at Lavallette’s Tuesday, July 6’s meeting.
The total in beach badge sales as of Tuesday, July 6’s meeting is $988,019. This includes the preseason sales that totaled $679,950.
Season beach badges from the beginning of the season is $130,920; senior badges have made $92,280; last week daily beach badges made a total of $12,530, the week prior saw $13,265 and the two weeks ago saw $7,525.
Mayor Walter G. LaCicero referring to beach badge sales said, “It looks like we are on track to break that record again.”
Lavallette had set a beach badge sales record the previous year in 2020, when they sold $1,268,844 in beach badge revenue.
