BRADLEY BEACH — Life is slowly returning to some normalcy in Bradley Beach as the borough has scheduled a weekend packed with events.

On Saturday, a craft fair will be coming to Riley Park, hosted by the Bradley Beach Business Community Alliance. The Spring Pop Up Craft market will take place 11 a.m. to 6 p.m and will include more than 30 arts and crafts vendors stationed along the walkways of the park.

There will also be live music throughout the day.

Keeping on the theme of music, on Sunday, May 23 the bandshell at Riley Park will stage the second Bradley Ramble, from 1 to 4 p.m. This free afternoon concert will feature local musicians and singer-songwriters.

This year, featured bands scheduled to perform are Regina Goldy, BACKHOUSE, Jake Thistle and Rene Maskin — all backed by the Ramble house band, Tired Starlings. Those who attend are encouraged to bring a blanket or a chair and settle in for a great afternoon of music.

While events are happening in Riley Park this weekend, the residential areas of Bradley Beach will also have a chance to participate in some summertime fun.

The Bradley Beach Department of Communications and Tourism will be holding a patriotic-themed house decorating contest on Memorial Day Weekend. All entries must be submitted by May 24 and judging will take place from May 28 to May 31.

Entrants can register by submitting their address, phone number and photo to Bradley Beach Tourism Director Amy Hall at

Houses will be judged via social media with the top three receiving prizes.
