POINT PLEASANT — A new Spring Anchor Program Card initiative was launched by the Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Thursday, aimed at supporting local business members and encouraging the community to shop local.

“We wanted to create a program that we can continue to offer every year and grow. Our way to thank our members and the community in an engaging way,” Executive Director Gloria DeFalco said.

“It is a program that will tie into National Small Business Week that is held every spring. It is a week to celebrate and appreciate small businesses. With an emphasis on local shopping and supporting local entrepreneurs, it highlights the role small businesses contribute in the nation’s economy.”

Participating Businesses include Anytime Repair Service, Anytime Fitness, Clarizio Music Center, Crest Pointe Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, DeFelice Auto Sales & Repairs, Divi Tree, Eagle Speed Oil & Lube, Garrow Wellness Center, Haven’s Sweet Shop, Jersey Mike’s, Kim & Jenn Cleaners, Lovelandtown Grocery & Provisions, Northeast Sign & Lighting, Pixie’s Sunrise Café, Plethora Boutique, Salon DiMaria, Shore Fresh Seafood, Point Pleasant Borough, Stefan Byramji, Agent with New York Life Insurance Company, Susan J Roche Portraits, The Cookie Lady Café, The Crew on Point, The Grenville Hotel & Restaurant, The New Country Bakery, Top That!
