MANASQUAN — Ten positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported among students and staff in the Manasquan School District, according to recent notifications posted on the district’s website.
Due to the winter recess, students and staff at both the high school and elementary school have not been in school since Friday, Feb. 5. In-person and remote instruction is set to resume on Monday, Feb. 15.
On Jan. 29, Superintendent of Schools Frank Kasyan notified the school community of a Manasquan Elementary School student who tested positive for the coronavirus. The student was last in the school building on Jan. 21.
More recent notifications include three Manasquan High School students who tested positive for the coronavirus on Feb. 3. The students had last attended in-person instruction on Jan. 7, 27 and 28.
