MANASQUAN — The Manasquan Beach and Recreation Department announced that construction work at its Main Beach headquarters, 205 Beachfront, has begun and will continue for the next several months.
During construction, the building will be off limits, in addition to the parking lot behind beach headquarters, which has been converted into a work area.
Main Beach bathrooms also will remain closed during renovations. All beach visitors may utilize port-a-potty facilities located on the north side of the Sea Watch building and at street level on Riverside Drive at the Inlet.
The beach walk will remain open. However, visitors are asked to exercise caution when in the area of the beach building. From time to time one or both of the access ramps will be closed to pedestrian traffic and will be clearly marked.
