Brick school board race tightens in Saturday vote count update

BRICK TOWNSHIP — As of Saturday morning, the still incomplete and unofficial vote count in the race for two Brick school board seats showed two candidates separated by a single vote.

Melissa Parker led the five-candidate field with 12,659 votes but Michael A. Blandina and Jessica had 12,042 and 12,041 votes respectively for the second of the two seats on the ballot.
