MANASQUAN — The borough approved the renewal of Manasquan VFW Post 1838’s liquor license during a special meeting held Wednesday night.
The borough had tabled the renewal at both September council meetings following complaints by several of the post’s neighbors, who had cited noise complaints, drunk driving and other issues.
Among the complaints was the post’s construction of an outdoor bar, which according to Borough Attorney Mark Kitrick, was found to be constructed without proper permits by the borough’s zoning official.
