Sea Girt Beach Yoga concludes successful summer season

SEA GIRT — As the weather gets cooler shifting into the fall, Sea Girt Beach Yoga will be wrapping up its yoga and mindfulness classes.

Classes will officially end on Wednesday, Sept. 30, according to Sea Girt Beach Yoga Director Kathleen Witte-Davis, who is also a certified yoga instructor. She told The Coast Star on Monday that she is grateful to the community for its support and all who have attended classes thus far.

For the final week of yoga daily classes will be held at 9 a.m., and evening classes will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All classes will be held at the Trenton Boulevard beach near lifeguard stand seven.

Despite the many challenges that the coronavirus has presented this year, Ms. Witte-Davis said the beach yoga season was a success.

“We did it, and not only was it successful, but nobody had gotten sick,” she said. “I think people very much benefited from being outside in nature and appreciated the community.”
