MANASQUAN — The borough presented an updated preliminary design for Sea Watch during Monday night’s virtual mayor and council meeting following weeks of feedback and criticism of the initial presentation.
The design, presented by Joe Raftery of Maser Consulting, proposes a scaled down version of the building that was presented at the Aug.17 meeting.
“We have no desire to change the character of the north end,” Council President Mike Mangan said. “The council’s intent is to put back what was there” prior to Superstorm Sandy.
