MANASQUAN‌ ‌—‌ ‌The‌ ‌Spring‌ ‌Lake-Brielle‌ ‌Rotary‌ ‌is‌ ‌holding‌ ‌a‌ ‌food‌ ‌drive‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌Manasquan‌ Food‌ ‌Pantry‌ ‌in‌ ‌honor‌ ‌of‌ ‌Hunger‌ ‌Action‌ ‌Month,‌ ‌an‌ ‌annual‌ ‌occurrence‌ ‌aimed‌ ‌at‌ ‌ending‌ ‌hunger‌ through‌ ‌increased‌ ‌awareness‌ ‌and‌ ‌action.‌ 
 
To‌ ‌make‌ ‌a‌ ‌donation,‌ ‌stop‌ ‌by‌ ‌the‌ ‌food‌ ‌pantry,‌ ‌which‌ ‌is‌ ‌located‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Manasquan‌ ‌Presbyterian‌ Church‌ ‌at‌ ‌16‌ ‌Virginia‌ ‌Ave.,‌ ‌on‌ ‌Saturday,‌ ‌Sept.‌ ‌19‌ ‌from‌ ‌9‌ ‌a.m.‌ ‌to‌ ‌2‌ ‌p.m.‌ 
 
The‌ ‌pantry‌ ‌is‌ ‌in‌ ‌need‌ ‌of‌ ‌non-perishable‌ ‌foods‌ ‌and‌ ‌paper‌ ‌goods.‌ ‌Desired‌ ‌items‌ ‌include:‌ ‌healthy‌ cereals;‌ ‌canned‌ ‌goods‌ ‌such‌ ‌as‌ ‌tuna,‌ ‌chicken,‌ ‌corn,‌ ‌string‌ ‌beans,‌ ‌soup‌ ‌and‌ ‌fruit;‌ ‌peanut‌ ‌butter;‌ ‌strawberry‌ ‌jelly;‌ ‌pasta‌ ‌and‌ ‌jarred‌ ‌sauce;‌ ‌coffee;‌ ‌macaroni‌ ‌and‌ ‌cheese;‌ ‌kid-friendly‌ ‌snacks;‌ ‌bottled‌ ‌juices;‌ ‌as‌ ‌well‌ ‌as‌ ‌toilet‌ ‌paper‌ ‌and‌ ‌paper‌ ‌towels.‌ 
 
Saturday’s‌ ‌food‌ ‌drive‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌ ‌the‌ ‌third‌ ‌and‌ ‌final‌ ‌event‌ ‌hosted‌ ‌by‌ ‌the‌ ‌Rotary‌ ‌Club,‌ ‌which‌ ‌held‌ ‌two‌‌food‌ ‌drives‌ ‌during‌ ‌the‌Algonquin‌ ‌Arts‌ ‌Theatre’s‌ ‌dockside‌ ‌concerts‌ ‌on‌ ‌Sept.‌ ‌9‌ ‌and‌ ‌16.‌
