BRICK TOWNSHIP — Ocean County Vocational Technical School’s [OCVTS] Brick Center was abuzz with activity on Saturday as students, parents and staff spent the day exploring the center’s annual Career Discovery Day.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. attendees participated in hands-on activities and watched demonstrations while students competed in Skills USA contests and learned about programs the school has to offer.

“It’s a way for the public to come in and see what we do,” said vice principal Tiffany Seeley, who organizes the event each year.

“This allows students to see some options that are here and then they can think more about what they want to do if they come here.”
