Wall student injured in Ewing car crash; driver a fatality


WALL TOWNSHIP — A Wall Township resident was among several students at The College of New Jersey [TCNJ] who were injured in a head-on collision in Ewing Township early Sunday morning.

One of the injured students, Michael Sot, 20, of Clark, died of his injuries on Tuesday afternoon, Ewing police Lt. Albert Rhodes said. Mr. Sot was a designated driver for the students in the car, according to William Walker, who set up GoFundMe account for the injured students.

The driver of the other car was impaired, according to police.

Matthew DeGenova, 21, is a resident of Wall Township and an accounting major. He was among five TCNJ injured students identified in the GoFundMe account.
