BRADLEY BEACH — The Friends of the Bradley Beach Library are still looking toward the generosity of the community for donations for the upcoming annual Holiday Jewelry Sale.
The group is accepting donations of unwanted jewelry, which will be sold on Friday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sale takes place downstairs at the Bradley Beach Library at 511 Fourth Ave. and raises funds for the library and its programs. Prices at the sale will vary but most jewelry will be priced from 50 cents to $15. They hope these budget gifts will be great as holiday gifts for teachers and family members.
The library is looking for pins, bracelets, earrings, cufflinks, rings, necklaces or anything individuals are willing to donate. They are seeking second-hand jewelry, but will gladly accept new pieces, according to Lenore Decovsky, the president of the Friends of the Bradley Beach Library.
