BELMAR — Ahoy matey; the 2nd annual Belmar NJ Pirate Walk has returned to find its buried treasure.

On Sunday, June 10 from noon to 3 p.m., rain or shine, pirates of all ages are invit- ed by the Belmar Business Partnership [BBP] to come to Pyanoe Plaza, Main Street and 9th Avenue, to register and join in on the pirate fun.

Pat Tecza, owner of Nostalgic Nonsense Vintage Clothing and a BBP trustee, approached the BBP last year with the idea to do an event full of pirate activities.

One of the aspects of the event is a treasure hunt, which is run similar to a candy cane hunt, Ms. Tecza said.

Ms. Tecza went on to say that when a child finds a store that has their corresponding number, they get a prize. Each number will be in two different stores so every child will have the op- portunity to get two prizes, if they choose to look.
