Arizona woman arrested in connection with car break-ins

WALL TOWNSHIP — The Wall Township Police Department has charged Brooke S. Slade, of Phoenix, Arizona, following an investigation into recent motor vehicle burglaries at fitness centers in the township.

Ms. Slade, 43, was charged on Feb. 2 with nine counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and theft, two counts of uttering and two counts of receiving stolen property, according to a press release from the department. 

Ms. Slade is currently being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institute.

Both the Asbury Park Police Department and the Toms River Police Department also have charges pending against Slade, the release from WTPD states.

“We are still continuing with this investigation and looking into her association with any specific gangs,” Capt. Greg Carpino, public information officer for the WTPD, said.
