From corn fritters and smoked wings to baby back ribs, pulled pork and brisket, this Point Pleasant restaurant specializes in all things BBQ. WELCOME TO WOODCHUCK’S
Pit-master and Chef Steven Cassidy and his culinary team are behind the carefully crafted in-house creations on the menu at Woodchuck’s BBQ. Woodchuck’s prides itself on a menu that is made fresh and cooked to order in the hopes of wowing each and every customer who walks through the door. From the appetizer menu, the BBQ Nachos are as fresh as they get because the chips are hand-cut and fried to order. The Jumbo Wings take over a section of the menu all their own and the process to make them starts the night before. The wings are marinated overnight then smoked and fried for a crispy skin. For the final touch the wings are tossed in your choice of one of Woodchuck’s signature wing sauces. FROM THE MAIN MENU
Woodchuck’s serves chicken breasts that are apple-brined and pit-smoked. The beef brisket sits overnight after getting a special rub and is then loaded into the smoker for eight hours. The pork shoulders get smoked slow and low, but only after they marinate for two days.
One of Woodchuck’s specialties, the Baby Back Ribs, are rubbed and marinated for 24 hours and then smoked with real Hickory wood chips. The ribs are finished on the grill where Woodchuck’s original BBQ sauce caramelizes them. This process ensures that when the ribs hit your table, you will have the perfect fall-off-the-bone rib eating experience. EAT IN OR TAKE OUT
