John Peet, Tasting Room manager at Asbury Park Distilling, is shaking up the signature cocktail No. 64 in none other than his home away from home, the Tasting Room. Peet came to Asbury Park from Nashville, Tennessee, and during his time there he worked at some of the city’s best bars. In 2015 and 2016, Peet won the Nashville Bartender Bash. Asbury Park Distilling Co., 527 Lake Ave., stands proud as the first distillery since Prohibition in Asbury Park. The menu and ambiance in the Tasting Room are carefully crafted and created by Peet himself with a focus that’s spirit- forward, unique and seasonal. Tasting Room Hours are Thursday from 5 – 10 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 3 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from 3 – 10 p.m. Courtesy of top-of-the-line equipment, Asbury Park Distilling currently distills vodka and gin with more spirits to come.

Cella previously tended bar at Brick House in Neptune and prior to that worked as a VIP server at Bar Anticipation so shaking up cocktails is nothing new for her. In addition to making deliciously refreshing drinks, Cella radiates the most positive energy behind the bar while always wearing a smile on her face.
